Queens Award For Enterprise Sustainability Category Winners 2021

CHEEKY WIPES IS CROWNED A WINNER IN THE QUEEN’S AWARDS FOR ENTERPRISE 2021

Cheeky Wipes, the most trusted brand of reusable baby, beauty and hygiene products has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2021 in the category of ‘Sustainable Development’. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for UK businesses, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK. Cheeky Wipes is one of 205 organisations to be recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Announced today, Cheeky Wipes has been recognised for its excellence in Sustainable Development, selected as one of the 17 winners in this category, based on outstanding positive impacts across a number of initiatives such as waste reduction, and has aligned education, customer and stakeholder engagement and employee initiatives with company sustainability values.

Her Majesty The Queen personally approves the winners and The Lord-Lieutenant of the County, Her Majesty The Queen’s local representative will present the award to Cheeky Wipes. It is hoped the customary Royal Reception for the winners will be held later in the year following government guidelines.

Cheeky Baby Products Ltd, established in 2011, is based in Newhaven, East Sussex. Led by founder Helen Rankin and her 16 strong team, it has sustainability principles at the heart of its products, each providing a reusable alternative to single use baby wipes, makeup removing wipes and absorbent underwear and pads for period and incontinence use.

Cheeky Wipes has demonstrated clear leadership and an exemplary approach to sustainable development, aligning their sustainability strategy to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Its championing and support for education and charitable programmes is particularly positive, as is its high expectations and support for supply chain partners. Sustainability is at the core of the business operational and investment model, and its future strategic priorities.

Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Award emblem for the next five years.
